This is part 2 of our Everyday Effortless Workouts series I hope it helps someone. Exercising doesn’t have to be this long drawn out physically demanding monotonous routine. That you have to somehow carve out 2-3 hours of your day to fit it in. Don’t get me wrong, I love being able to get a great not good but great sweat breaking limit pushing workout in. But realistically it’s not possible to do every time I feel like doing it. I am pretty sure I’m not alone when it comes to that situation. We are all busy living out our own individual lives and everyone’s time is used or taken up differently. So the way you utilize the time you have is key. Doing small things in small increments of time can benefit you just as much as a long workout. Remember these are Everyday Effortless Workouts and Every Little Bit Helps.
It’s like putting your spare change into a jar at the end of every day. Once it fills up and it is time to check the results you have more than thought most times. Everyone knows 100 pennies adds up to 1 dollar no matter how long it takes to get those 100 pennies. Each little bit you add is getting you closer to that goal. A dollar is a dollar whether it comes in 4 quarters or 100 pennies. It might take a little longer but it amounts to the same outcome. That’s what this is all about small workouts within the short breaks of time you have during your day. Whatever exercises you can or want to do just break them up throughout your day. If you are going by reps or minutes divide them into smaller intervals as best you can. Remember Every Little Bit Helps.

Jumping Jacks: Easy to do and doesn’t take a lot of time. Works various muscles plus they are also great for cardio. Who cant just stop what they are doing and do 5 or 10 jumping jacks I mean come on. This is something I know we all did as kids in PE class (Physical Education or Gym Class). Remember the gym class warm-ups I know I do. The stretching, the cherry pickers, the jumping jacks.

It really gets me pumped up and ready to do something else. Running and walking are essential to keeping yourself in shape. So if you can just find the time to run in place at your pace it is a good start.

You can monitor your progress starting small and building up, walking stairs can do wonders for your overall health.

Push Ups: Now we have the old standard the overall exercise most trainers or workout enthusiasts will tell you to do. If you can do push-ups then make it a point to do some men and women. They can be difficult for most of us to do. If you have trouble doing the traditional push up you can always start off with the easier push-up. This method allows you to use your knees for additional support. Making it easier for anyone to get started and progress from there.
Sit Ups/Crunches: Just like push-ups, we have the dreaded sit ups and crunches. What a pain right you have to get on the floor get positioned and then get going. But it takes no time at all to get down and knock out 2,3,4, at a time remember every little bit helps. Incorporate your push ups and sit ups into the same time frame. Maximizing your time and workout. And you can do that with any and all of these workouts whatever you are comfortable with is good.
